For a while, it seemed as if all my blog design projects used some shade of blush. Lately, I’ve been receiving requests to use more green and emerald tones. I love working with emerald green; it’s so rich and vibrant. Plus, it has a timeless, classic quality. Personally, I like to pair it with a contrasting color – either a soft pink or a subtle, muted coral.
Living in California for my first winter has been quite enjoyable. Not only is it still around 60-degrees out, everything is still green. I don’t miss the barren trees and overcast gray skies of Chicago. It is also a great holiday color. I tend to prefer it over red. Emerald, Navy, and fir-scented candle!
I’m off to Austin today for a holiday with my family! We’ve decided to go somewhere completely different for the holidays, and I’ve been looking forward to this trip for the last couple of months. I’ll be sharing lots of food pics on Instagram, and I have content scheduled throughout the next week!
